I've been a Stargate SG-1 fan now for about 3 years. I remember the first episode I ever watched was Pretence (an ep which today still remains one of my favourites). After watching a few eps I was well and truely hooked and kept asking myself where this show had been all my life. I can't believe I had missed it. So after watching the remining run of season 3 on TV I began to search out all the episodes I hadn't seen. I rushed down to our local video store and rented out all of season one. After that, I went and brought all of season 2. Now, I am a full fledged addict.

Watching the first few episodes of season 4 it was so obvious that Sam and Jack had a great chemistry, and through my wanderings around the fandom I came across a phenomenon I had never even knew existed. Fan Fiction.

I made my way through Heliopolis and The Sam and Jack Directory, reading everything I could get my hands on. I couldn't believe the sheer volume of work out there, or the amount of wonderful talented authors.

Around May 2001 I decided I'd give writing fic a shot. And I posted my first fic New Memories on the samandjack list.

I'm a big fan of reading Sam and Jack stories that take place outside the SGC. I love stories that explore the relationship between them as people. Most of you who are familiar with my work know that I like writing stories that feature Sam and Jack in situations which effect their relationship. I love Drama, Angst and Hurt/Comfort as well as a little bit of NC17 thrown into the mix. I rarely write any Action/Adventure, but I am trying to dabble in that area with my continuing series, Days of Reckoning.

Today I have written over 50 fics and I'm still hanging in there.
